The NEW FX Thumb Throttle is made for ebikes and escooters, but will work on ANY electric bike, including larger bikes like Surrons, Erides, Talarias, etc.
Featuring a fully CNC aluminum enclosure, the innovative thumb wheel allows for precise throttle input as well as improved ease of keeping a constant throttle setting due to it’s design. Simple mounting and wiring (see wire info below) to your controller eases installation, making it simple to upgrade your throttle!
The CNC thumbwheel is supported by dual ball bearings for ultimate smoothness and reliability.
Total cable length is 40”, but there is a 3-pin connector halfway for connecting to most ebikes and scooters (male end from the throttle side). Need a female end instead, as in a Super 73 setup? We’ve got you covered with an included 3” female to female adapter! The end of the harness has three exposed wires if you want to add your own custom connector or solder.
NOTE: On emotos / ebikes with certain aftermarket controllers (such as the EBMX 9000), the throttle-only version of the FX Thumb throttle can be used to control regen strength, by mounting it to the left handlebar. Roll it to the left to dial in the exact amount of regen braking you need, with the smoothest response on the market.
FX THUMBWHEEL THROTTLE VERSIONS
Throttle Only: Rotate the spring-loaded wheel to the left for throttle (or regen).
Throttle + Regen Braking: On VESC Controllers, rotate left for throttle, and right for variable regen braking force. The spring-loaded wheel self-centers when released. Dial in as much or as little braking force as you need simply by moving the wheel with your thumb.
Voltage output: If using 5v, both FX versions output approximately in the .86 - 4.2V range, and scaled lower for 3v input.
Voltage input: Flexible voltage input from 3-5v.
